It is also sometimes paraded at funerals of
Mothers' Union Members

not made until after the
war in 1945. Banner was
cleaned and repaired in
1973 at a cost of £2.
The banner is used only
at Diocesan events.

                                   The Banner was made by Members when branch
                                   opened in the early 1980s. Cream brocade was
                                   purchased but other material was supplied by
                                   members and taken from a tablecloth, a
                                   dress and a 'going away' outfit
