Wave of Prayer
“Your Gift? Discover and Celebrate”
This is a continual “Wave of Prayer” which travels around the Mothers’ Union worldwide in an unbroken circle, with each Diocese prayed for in turn by their own links. Chichester Diocese prays from 16th - 20th March with that time divided between our branches in sessions of approximately one hour each.
Our Links are Kimberly and Kuruman in Southern Africa, Nyahururu, Kericho in Kenya, Owo, Niger Delta and Okrika in Nigeria and Renk in Sudan. Read more about them here.
Each branch writes their own service and can include poems, reflections, songs, hymns or anything else appropriate for their branch and time. Branches can also discuss the problems overseas branches face with travel, health, food, climate or warfare.
